The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration Vents Program has made public a series of underwater recordings of whales, ships, unknown sounds, and even earthquakes. Using only those publicly available samples, Keep, Michael Hendley, and Beau Finley each created their tracks.

This album was released through the Fuzzy Panda Temporary Release Program and was available for free download for 50 days. Now, it's still downloadable, but for $3. Two thirds of that $3 goes directly to the artists, after Bandcamp and Paypal have their way. The remaining third goes to Fuzzy Panda Recording Company to keep the 50 day free downloads coming. Fuzzy Panda Recording Company is a little label based in DC and L.A. We began in 2005 as a combination of the Outside DC Collective in Maryland and Can the Lowbrow Productions in Pennsylvania.
